Job Decsription:   The Paving Machine Operator’s primary function is to operate the asphalt paving machines that lay and finish asphalt.  May perform manual labor such as showing, spreading gravel and maintaining equipment. The operator must perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues to a supervisor. In addition, the operator may be required to perform minor repairs to the equipment and is expected to assist in the general operation of each job site.

 Job Description:   The Asphalt Laborer and Operator is responsible preparing the job site, setting up equipment and perfom manual labor such as raking, sweeping and lining out the road. The Asphalt Laborer and Operator is tasked with operating asphalt milling machines, rollers and skid steers and other equipment in th removal and installation of asphal surfaces and is responsible for  routine maintenance on equipment and tools.

Job Description:   The Asphalt Laborer is responsible for preparing the job site, setting up equipment, and performing manual labor such as digging, raking and sweekping.  assists in the pouring, smoothing and setting of asphalt on roads, pathways and parking lots.  The main task of the asphalt laborer is to look after the mat; this includes raking, sweeping, and lining of the road.  Will also work alongside the tractor, miller, paver and screed.  

Job Decsription: - Under general supervision, performs a variety of tasks including standing on the paving machine making sure the flow of pavement is coming out correctly. Screed operation on the asphalt paver involves making normal adjustments for obtaining proper depth, grade and finished cross section of asphalt material via screed controls.
